About Snack Sched

Fair snack rotations for teams, PTAs, and church groups, without the group-text scramble.

Snack Sched is a free, browser-based tool for building snack and volunteer rotations. Add the season dates, list the families or volunteers, and generate a schedule that spreads turns evenly. Copy it into the chat, export it to a calendar, or print it for the equipment bag.

Who runs it

Snack Sched is a small independent project run by Damion in Indiana, United States. There is no company and no sales team behind it, just a practical page that should work when a coach needs a list before Saturday and nobody wants to argue about who went last week.

Why it exists

Sign-up sheets and group texts work until they do not. The same dependable families end up covering most of the season, new families never get a clear turn, and nobody can remember who brought oranges three weeks ago. Snack Sched replaces that with a simple, explainable rule: everyone gets the same number of turns or is off by one, and nobody goes twice in a row when there are enough people. How it works explains the rule in detail.

What it is for

  • Youth sports teams handling game-day snacks and drinks.
  • Classrooms and PTAs scheduling snack days or meeting refreshments.
  • Churches running coffee hour, hospitality tables, or small-group snacks.
  • Any recurring volunteer job that should be shared fairly.

The guides cover the human side of these rotations: healthy and allergy-aware snack ideas, coordinating parents, and running church and PTA volunteer schedules.

What it is not

Snack Sched is not a sign-up system, a messaging app, or a team management platform. It does not send reminders, collect money, or store rosters on a server. It builds a fair schedule and gives you easy ways to share it.

How the site is funded

The tool is free. It is supported by an optional Ko-fi tip jar and may show Google AdSense advertising on content pages. See the privacy page for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
