Snack Sched is a free browser tool for building fair snack rotations. Type the season, add the game or meeting dates, list the families or volunteers, and generate a schedule you can screenshot, print, or paste into the group chat. There is no account to create and nothing is uploaded for the rotation itself — names and dates stay on this device.
It is aimed at youth sports snack duty, PTA nights, church nursery and coffee hour, classroom parties, and other volunteer rotations where “who brings snacks?” should feel even, not political.
Give the season an optional name (handy on a printed sheet). Add dates with a weekday range, pick extras one by one, or paste a list. Remove any date you do not need. Enter one family or volunteer per line.
Choose one slot per date (snacks only) or two (snacks + drinks), and optionally rename the slot labels. Press Generate schedule to build the table. Reshuffle tries a fresh fair layout with the same people and dates. From the result you can copy as text or CSV, copy a share link, download a calendar (.ics), or print.
Everyone gets the same number of turns, or off by one when the math does not divide evenly. With two slots, balance is tracked per slot so the same names are not stuck on snacks while others only do drinks. When there are enough people, the generator avoids back-to-back assignments on consecutive dates.
The whole rotation runs client-side in your browser. You can show the fairness summary under the table so parents and coaches see the counts are even.

Snack Sched is not a paid snack marketplace, delivery service, or storefront. It does not ask you to upload children’s personal data to a server, and it is not a login app with accounts or team dashboards. It is a local schedule helper: dates in, names in, fair rotation out — for you to share however your team already communicates.
No. Names and dates are typed and scheduled in your browser. We do not upload your list to a server to build the rotation. A draft may be saved in localStorage on this device so a refresh does not wipe your setup; clearing site data for snackslot.com removes it.
Yes. Names are deduplicated case-insensitively, so “The Garcias” and “the garcias” count as one family. Leading and trailing spaces are trimmed.
Yes. Choose 2 — snacks + drinks and optionally rename the labels. Each date gets two different people, and counts stay balanced per slot as well as overall.
Copy share link puts the season setup and generated schedule into the URL hash so a teammate can open the same rotation. The link is for sharing the schedule you already built — it is not a server-side account or private database.
Yes. The layout is built for phones as well as laptops. Sticky Generate stays handy while you scroll dates and names on a small screen.
